Dr. Bae’s favorite part of dentistry is the connection with patients. He loves hearing the words, “Nobody has ever explained it to me that way before”. He believes it is crucial for patients to be educated on treatment, procedures, and even modifications to everyday care.

Dr. Bae graduated from Kalamazoo College (Michigan) with a bachelor's degree in chemistry, along with minors in biology and economics. After college, he worked as a program manager for a few years before heading to dental school. Dr. Bae earned his DDS at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He completed his General Practice Residency at Denver Health Medical Center.

In his free time, Dr. Bae can be found trying new restaurants, cooking, playing ice hockey, skiing, hiking, camping, or sleeping. It is important to him to be current and effective with dental techniques which is why he is excited to be a part of Metropolitan Dental Arts.
